How do I add links to the menu in my portfolio?


It is possible to add a link to the menu, such as to a blog or even to a hidden album in your portfolio.

Customising Your Navigation Menu

You can further customise your navigation menu in your Design manager by clicking on the Edit all pages button in a page editor.

 

 

Once this option is selected, two links will appear to the right of your menu editor:

Edit an Add external link 

By selecting Edit a window will pop up with a list of all the links that will be displayed in your navigation menu.

  

You can edit the text of these links by clicking on their names, or to hide them you can click on the switch to the left. 

The Show albums switch will also display direct links to any or all of your albums in your navigation menu.

 By selecting Add external link you can label and enter the URL of any link you like and this will be displayed in your navigation menu.  

You can add an external link in your navigation menu that will lead to a hidden album by following these steps:

Step 1:

Open the Client album you want to add and select the Invite clients button.

  

Step 2: Enter your email address as an invitation, click Add contact..


Step 3:

Disable Proofing layout, then copy the link of that album.

 

Step 4:

Go into your Design manager and select 

 Homepage > Edit all pages > Menu.

This will bring up an Add external link button to your right. 

Select the add external link option and paste the link from your album invitation into the appropriate box.

Be sure to name the link as well!

You now have a menu link that directs to your hidden album.
